    My MacBook Pro was a Lemon

    Almost everyone who knows me knows that I am a big fan of Apple computers, specifically my MacBook Pro. I have had this machine for a little under a year and have loved it. At least, that is, until about three weeks ago. Over the last three weeks I have had the machine almost fully replaced. Here’s a rundown of what has been replaced (so far)… The “G” Key. This needed to be replaced and is really what started it all. Read that one in the context of her latest post on the crime in the neighborhood she lives in. For you techies, this plugin from google integrates WordPress and a Google Calendar. My philadelphia, suburban neighbor, Scott Berkemier writes a great post on Entertainment and the Suburban Condition.     GTD: Airplane Mode

    I’ve been pushing myself to be more productive during my work hours, especially since I now have two days of the week where I watch my boys. Since I often work from home and am usually alone most of the day I have found services such as AIM & Twitter keep me from going insane. I am very much a people person so these services really help me enjoy my work more. I not only use these services socially but I also find myself getting a lot of feedback and work help over AIM and twitter. But, with most things, there are negatives to these otherwise good things.
