A little vacation…
My wife and I are celebrating our sixth (6th!) year of marriage this week. (Actually, it was Saturday). But a friend is letting us borrow their house in Ocean City, MD this week to have an extended celebration. So, for the next few days we’ll be down in MD enjoying the break. Its funny, after six years of marriage, this is our first real, honest to goodness family vacation without any extended family except for our honeymoon.
I’m actually calling it a “working vacation” because we’re headed to Disney in the end of August (I’ve never been there before). I’ll be taking it easy during the day catching up in studying and planning along with some design work while Cole and Melanie head to the beach. I am sure they will drag me there one of the days but I have to say I am not too sad about missing the beach. Walking on sand with bare feet is my version of fingernails on a chalkboard!
So, with limited Internet access this week, don’t expect a lots of posts (or any at all). Though, I have scheduled a few posts to go up this week over at MereMission so feel free to head there on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for some new content. I like the intro a lot Todd. Alex on Sunday talked about putting ourselves in boxes and that hit me big time. How much do we really limit ourselves to doing God’s will. We are meant for so much more than we can image so why do we image what we are meant for being so trite!!!!
