A prayer.
Almighty God, whose most deaar Son went not up to the joy set before he first suffered pain, and did not enter into glory before he was crucified: Mercifully grant that I, walking in the way of the cross, may find it to be none other than the way of life and peace, through Jesus Christ your Son my Lord. Amen.
