Todd, in the US. We met a young lady who was 19 and already had a two year old and was pregnant. We developed a great relationship with her and she decided it would be best for her baby to live with us. My wife was her “birth coach” and even had the opportunity to “cut the cord.” That was 7 years ago. The biological father was in and out of prison for the first 5 years but now it looks like he is going to get his life together. It has been a ride!
