Hmm…the Cubs have won 6 straight. Why do they do this to me?

Thought for the Day: Some People are like Slinkies - not really good for anything, but they sure bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.
Are killing me. I always go to see the Cubs play when they are in Philly. Last night I went again and they lost. Again. I have never actually seen them win in Philly. I am going again today, hoping for a better result. (It’s even worse when you go with a bunch of friends [...]
This is a post by Paul Fromont of Prodigal Kiwi about that fact that he is called to the suburbs. It sounds eerily familiar to my paper but I promise I didn’t read this before I wrote my paper.
By the way, that really, really cute Guatemalan kid at the top of my blog is my son. We’re in the process of adopting him and hope to have him home in 4-6 weeks (today is March 27th). We can’t wait to bring him home! Read more about it here.
This is a very, very helpful perspective on evangelism from Andrew Hamilton in Australia. I feel he has a pretty good balance here in looking at friendship in evangelism and just simply sharing our hope (my alternative to saying “sharing our faith”)

Here is a great resource for creating an HTML signature block in outlook. I had to host the images for the signature block I working on our server, but it worked like a charm.

I’m a big fan of living intentionally and there is currently a big gap between my theory and my practice. This post is a great reminder that a little discipline is very helpful. Thanks for the great challenge “Timothy.”
Goodbye Allen Iverson. While I will always be a Bulls fan first, I’ve grown to care about the Sixers for the 10 years I’ve been here. And strange enough, I’m actually going to miss Iverson here…
The Chicago Bears’ Devin Hester is officially the man. Two returns today for TDs. 6 on the year. New NFL single season record. Oh, have I mentioned he’s a rookie?
Using Delicious Library and Librarything I am working on putting my library together so I can stop losing books! If you have a mac, delicious library is amazing and fun. Librarything is a great little online library. Check out my books here.
If you’re interested we just launched a website for Cornerstone Community Church in Maryland.
My most recent sermon is available online. Listen at your own risk. Here’s a one sentence summary: “The Church is sent (into the world) as set apart and unified.”

I finally fixed the “RSS feed” link in my sidebar, feel free to click on that to get some options on how to subscribe to my blog.
I winterized my blog with snowflakes. How exciting.
