Not real sure what to comment aside from that I liked the post. My parents live within 2 hours of us but Susan's live in FL. Every so often, my parents have plans (like visiting my sister in AZ or something that reminds me that their world doesn't revolve around their oldest, most self-centered child). Anyway, every so often these types of moments remind me that my parents won't be around forever. Pretty morbid to post on a blog comment field but it gets me to start thinking about things like friendship, community, etc.
But back to you - I'm glad you feel so blessed by your friends at the Well. They're blessed to have you and Melanie too though.
Ok that's enough nice things, back to making fun of the Cubs.
They are as doomed as Arod's public relations' sense.

Thank you, Todd, for including us in your sub category under the “real” family, and sorry that we did not come with papers, but I am faithful that God will revile his reasons when we are with him.

Our family categories are a bit different….We have “real” family and our “eternal” family, and I pray everyday that our (Dwayne and my) real family will one day join us in our “eternal” family.

Please don’t over look the blessings you have in knowing that both your “real” family and “church” family will reside with you forever. Some are not so blessed.
