My parents live within 2 hours of us but Susan's live in FL. Every so often, my parents have plans (like visiting my sister in AZ or something that reminds me that their world doesn't revolve around their oldest, most self-centered child). Anyway, every so often these types of moments remind me that my parents won't be around forever. Pretty morbid to post on a blog comment field but it gets me to start thinking about things like friendship, community, etc. But back to you - I'm glad you feel so blessed by your friends at the Well. They're blessed to have you and Melanie too though. Ok that's enough nice things, back to making fun of the Cubs. They are as doomed as Arod's public relations' sense.
