Discipleship…
I’ve been doing some of my own thinking on discipleship and would love to hear what you all (whoever you are…if you are there at all!) think of the subject…
If you are in a relationship with someone who is previously unchurched and says to you, “hey, i want to become a follower of Christ and commit my life to living for him.” How would you “disciple” him? What would you teach him? What is important? What is the focus?
I would love to hear some of your thoughts on this if you have a few…post them in a the comments section, or link back to your weblog where you post some thoughts….

Weird… I’ve been thinking about an aspect of this topic recently as well. It seems in my neck of the woods, we tend to try to get new believers to conform to a certain set of “Christian” behaviors (i.e, stop drinking, smoking, swearing, dating, listening to bad music…) rather than focusing on the heart and their new identity in Christ. I think a foundational thing is helping them to understand who they are, now that they are in Christ… They are a completely new person!!
