Eugene Peterson’s Advice to Church Planters

JR Briggs, a fellow pastor and one of my best friends in the entire universe, has been corresponding with Eugene Peterson for the last number of years.   They write actual letters.  You know, when pen and paper and stamps and use something called the “mail.”

Anyways, sometimes JR lets me read some of the letters from Eugene.  It’s pretty amazing.  He has posted some excerpts from one on his blog for us all to read.   In it, Eugene talks about church planing.  It’s pretty awesome and you can read it on JR’s blog here.
