My husband works for a nonprofit that receives gov't funding to provide counseling to foster children and their foster families. He supervises several of these programs and I'm happy to report that very, very good work is being done with these "least of these" kids, with very little waste of your tax dollars. My sister is a state employee at a state prison, providing therapy and help to society's throwaways. There are 2 examples of good work being done with your taxes for the fatherless and the prisoner.
