I just wanted to make public mention of a decision I have come to. I am going to start being extra-intentional about posting stories and reflections with regard to what my church community is up to. It is so easy for me to live in the theoretical world and even easier to pontificate about the church I dream about being a part of, but I need to focus more on what we've got now and who we are today. There are a great many peoples whose theology, missiology, and ecclesiology seems to be spot on, but then I hear about what they are a part of and I think, "Why the heck would I even listen to you - you're not even trying to live out what you're talking about." I don't want to be one of those people. We need more real life examples of what people are doing if we are ever to be truly inspired to become more fully the people and communities God hopes for us.
