hello again…
It has been a while. Not sure why, but I have not been in the “blogging” kind of mood lately….oh well…
I am preaching in two Sundays and i have been studying a bit this week for my message. i am sharing from psalms and will be talking about the importance of guarding and allowing God to search our hearts. as i have been studying this topic, something i am becoming very passionate about, i have been trying to “live it” in my own life. its not easy. not only becauase i don’t always like what i find there, but also because it takes time…it takes discipline. two things i haven’t necessarily figured out how to use very well! but, its been very good at the same time. i am realizing more and more the significance of “with all diligence, guard your hearts….” its a lot bigger than i have ever realized.
by the way, my seminary friend LT has got a nice blog going on (especially now that he is done for the semester and has nothing to do but blog all day!) and i encourage you to check it out…

kathy, by the way, thanks for the encouragement. i can see why its been a while since you read it…its been a while since i wrote in it! i get in these blog moods, i am pretty sure i am entering a new phase too…especially now that i know i am not just talking to myself! (which, really isn’t why i like to blog but it is always a bonus!) :-)
