Got this quote from LT last night in a conversation. He is not sure where he found it, but man its really good to think about. He’ll probably hate that i say this, but i have seen very few people with the heart for people that LT has. I think you should all aspire to know him or at the very least wish that you did! :-)

Help me to understand before I seek to be understood.

Help me understand the hearts and minds of those who come before me.”

Good stuff.

    That middle part is part of the prayer of st. francis of assissi. amazing prayer.

    Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.

    matt, we used to have that one in my bathroom in a picture frame so i was reminded often :-) of this …. always loved it. THANKS! That poem may be worth its own post in the next few days. what a good reminder….something we always forget…

    I too repeat that to my kids! I dont have all the answers…tough thing to admit to a three year old.
