Ask the adults and children you live with "how can I be a better spouse/parent/room-mate?" Ask "how can I be a better employee?" Ask "How can I be a better friend?" These are hard questions to ask but if you can ask them and convince your hearers that you really want to know the answers and will listen with humility rather than getting defensive or angry, then I think they'll be happy to tell you.
