Free Lean and Clean Wordpress Theme
I’ve taken my love for clean, grid based designs and developed a Wordpress theme for release. You can download it below.
Some notes about this theme…
I did my best to build this theme so that anyone could just plug it in and use it. My goal was to make this theme with a clean, minimalist design. In the Stylesheet I did my best to leave comments on what changes what and what styles control certain aspects of the side design.
All I ask is that you kindly leave the link to my blog to give me credit for the design in the footer.
I’ll do my best to provide support but can’t promise much as a I have a full load of freelance clients that are my priority. But, I will do my best. A great resource for WordPress questions is at codex.wordpress.org.

The theme looks great, and I’d love to give it a try… but is there any way you could shrink the width down just a tad? On your demo site, it gives horizontal scroll bars when viewed at 1024×768. Plenty of folks out there with that limit still, so I only use themes that “fit” that width.

I love the fact that you’re sharing this. I’ve created several sites using WP (including our church website), but I’ve never created my own theme. It’s enough for me to customize what others have put out there. So… thank you! :) I imagine I’ll be building something on this one at some point in the future…

This theme is exactly what I’m looking for. It’s clean and newbie friendly and I’m using it for my site so thanks a bunch for sharing.

Would you mind sharing how you managed to re-size the side bars or widgets? I’m new to Wordpress and not strong in PHP/CSS but I’m learning as I go. I’d like for the widgets to appear side by side just as you have them. Instead they appear directly under each other. My gut tells me it’s a padding issue but I can’t figure it out. Any help you can lend is greatly appreciated.
