I read this book twice. Once personally bc I am a good suburban Christian and another with our young adult small group bc I am a really, really good suburban Christian. If I wasn't going to be in New Olreans (on a mission trip with our students bc, as you may have heard, I'm a really, really great suburban Christian) ... Truth be told, I do wish I could attend. In fact, I'm hoping we have a great mix of the two. I am honestly kind of sick of conferences that have all pastors in them. :) as a side note, I think i'll be back in chicago in July to see my family. my two brothers are having kids then. not together, they aren't having kids "together." I'm not currently a pastor but I am ministering in my church and this is an area of interest for me. Still, Chicago to Philly is a pretty good drive for a one day conference. Need some wisdom.
