I’m scared, Todd. Very scared.

My son, Elijah, has been watching Cars a LOT over the past month. You know, like three times a day? Yeah.

During the past week we crossed the threshold into die-cast collectables as well…

And I did see Eli’s head turn when I was flipping through channels this weekend and the Dover Race was on…

Slippery slope indeed! Add that to the fact that there is a familial predisposition to NASCAR addiction (all of my in-laws are fans and live five minutes from Watkins Glen), and I’ve got real concerns about my boy.

It’s only a matter of time, I suppose. :)

Well my brother, here we go.

I didn’t say anything when you decided to go into the ministry and give up a lucrative career in hand-modeling.
Nor did I say anything when you let Cole design our church website. (And yes, he did a better job then we could but still)
Bit my tongue when you and your heretic friends threw out the sacred church organ.
NOW I can’t withhold this treachery. How in the name of Wrigley Field (a holy place for you right?), can you become a NASCAR fan???
