		<description>Been thinking about this one. I would divide my time up in thirds between preaching / teaching, pastoral care, and leading / managing the church.

As far as places: the suburban poor, nursing homes, prisons, working with the police as first responders, neighborhood community meetings, etc. The missional pastor is almost like the Catholic priest in this sense; maybe even the monks of yesteryear.

The funny thing is, these things may not benefit &lt;i&gt;my church&lt;/i&gt; directly per se, but it is nonetheless the ministry of the pastor to do so, provided she knows which community she is ministering in.</description>
