introducing a really boring website…but a really exciting group of people…

http://www.phillyemergent.com/

This new cohort of friends who are committed to “wrestling with what it means to be Church for the sake of the world in the North American context” will be meeting on the third thursday’s of every month down near the UPenn area in Philly. If you are from the area, feel free to join us.

Looking forward to continuing to develop new friendships with people who are passionate about the message and mission of Jesus being lived out in the Philly area (and the rest of the world)…

(yes, that amazign design is mine. i am actually working on a blog for the site, but i at least wanted to get some info up for our first meeting this thursday.)

Great job on the philly emergent site. I’m looking forward to reading what you all come up with on it. Sorry I didn’t make it down there. I guess I’m off to Vermont now, so the Albany, NY cohort may be my best bet. Maybe a Green Mountain cohort could be in my future as well. . .
