Over the years this blog has focused on the the calling of the church in suburban America. This has naturally transitioned into thoughts and questions around the nature of leadership and community life in this unique context.

That’s good Todd.
Here’s my self-evaluation verse for the day:
“To this one I will look: To him who is humble and contrite of spirit and who trembles at my word.” — Is. 66:2
Does God’s word make me tremble?
And then:
“Then everyone who trembled at the words of the God of Israel gathered around.” — Ezra 9:4
I want to be surrounded by people who tremble at God’s word and shake with them.
A whole lotta shakin’ goin’ on, eh?
