Of course it is historic. It occured in the past and therefore is historic. What I had a problem seeing was how many people were putting their faith in one man, instead of the only One who can really deliver. Obama might do great things, but he’s not my King. ps. McCain definetley wouldn’t be my king

Ditto! As a Christian, I believe that we are called to be respectful of anyone who is in a position of authority whether we agree with them or not. God is sovereign and I truly believe that whoever is in office is the best man (or woman) for the job in God’s big, strategic picture.

Romans 13:1 – “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.”

So no matter what your opinion is of Obama personally, he has been given this position by God and will need our prayers over the next 4 years.
