		<description>JD, i can see how that came out.  I thought it a few times as I was reading it but thought it was a good corrective the way I was raised where it was overstated the other way.</description>

I appreciated the book also, a radical call to imitatio Christi and ethical monotheism. However, I felt like Alan overdid it. We had an exchange about some of this over at Stetzer&#039;s blog. It seems taht the dangers of imitatio Christi (works-righteousness) were not balanced by an appropriate emphasis on the gospel.

Did you feel that way?
