Some good stuff here. I think that everything you&#039;re saying is right on the mark. I also think that it&#039;s important to ground these ideas in biblical exegesis. If I remember correctly, Crabb doesn&#039;t spend a lot of time exegeting scripture (which is fine) but as a pastor I would really strive to demonstrate these truths from scripture, not just logic. What passage(s) are you going to be preaching out of? I also think that the doctrin of the trinity (as Crabb points out)is very significant in regards to this whole subject. Interestingly, there has been a resurgence in trinitarian theology as of late and I can&#039;t help but think that this relates to fact that so many are starving for true relationships and community. Well, I&#039;m off. Keep after it!
