It’s this kind of story that makes my heart very, very heavy. Especially as a father, I just can’t imagine the pain.

    Talk about a “dark night of the soul.” Sometimes I’d rather just hide my head in a hole and pretend this sort of thing doesn’t happen.

    Here in Chicago we just had a 737over-run the Midway airport, skid onto some residential streets and crash into some cars, killing a 6 year-old boy. Gives me the same kind of feeling as the story you posted above.
