Esther, you ask the $100,000,000 question. what does this look like played out in community?

We're trying to address that right now at The Well. We're still finding our way in this but i am pretty sure it leads to messiness and some chaos as well as some amazing transformation.

and the fact that we have three kids plays a role in this doesn't it? How do we engage these intentional relationships when we have kids? I'm not one who wants to let me kids rule my life's schedule but we do need to care for them well.

Scheduling is one of the bigger issues for us right now.

And yes, three is crazy. :)

hey todd - i think you are dead on that this is something "evangelicals" don't generally put an emphasis on. being vulnerable with others can be really difficult for people - especially when you may fear that they may look down upon you/think less of you or they may start throwing scripture out at you which is not always too helpful.

When Fitch says...
"To do this, we cannot just get together and simply share our sins and quote bible verses at each other. We must retrieve from therapy the needed skills to practice biblical confession and bring it under the lordship of Christ."

what does this actually look like played out in community?

hey congrats on the baby! is 3 just craziness?
