Most of the people who know me know that I have a sweet ride. It’s pictured to the left here.
Its a 1995 Plymouth Acclaim: Power windows, power locks, power steering. Giant Rust spot on the roof. Mass amounts of paint chipping off the roof and hood and trunk. Its runs. 110k miles. Carpet stained from years of Starbucks coffee spills because of a half-broken cup holder. (Stains are from me and the previous owner!)
The car was free. A few years back we blew the engine on our Grand Am. At that time I was working at Starbucks and the very next day, a regular customer of mine came in and said, “I’ve been meaning to ask you this for a while… but, do you want a free car?” Uh. seriously?! I could have cared less what kind of car it was!
Anyways, I’m loving the fact that I am driving this beater. No car payments. Actually very few repairs. Runs well.
